Supporting Local Food Access in Partnership with Long Table Harvest

We are excited to be partnering with our long standing friends at Long Table Harvest to distribute FREE CSA Shares to the Hudson Community!

At Ironwood Farm we want to move our high quality Certified Organic vegetables and herbs to folks who do not have access via our CSA sites, farmers market, or local retail stores. Long Table Harvest picks up excess produce from local farms and delivers it to community-run sites, where folks are distributing based on their very local neighborhood needs. We are so appreciative of the work that Long Table Harvest does to connect the products of busy farmers to wonderful community partners.

In 2021 the farm started donating 5 Free CSA shares to the community through Long Table Harvest. This year our goal is to source funding for 10 FREE CSA shares for Hudson community members. We have formalized our Food For All Fund to collect community donations to support this work. With your donations, we can increase our efforts to get organic vegetable shares in the hands of community members and families.

Please help us reach our 2023 goal of raising this $5,500 fund by donating now. Thank you for helping us share our hard work with all in our community, not just those with access to CSA's and farmers markets!

It's crucial that in speaking of food access we recognize and lift up our neighboring farmer peers at Sweet Freedom Farm and Rock Steady Farm. The Sweet Freedom Farm Project focuses on growing and distributing vegetables, grain, herbs, medicines, and maple syrup to their community, prioritizing the folks affected by the incarceration system. Rock Steady Farm is a queer* owned and operated cooperative vegetable farm rooted in social justice, food access and farmer training. Both of these farms were formed with the intention (and subsequent success) in growing food for the purpose of extensive food access work. Their efforts and results are inspiration to all of us. With this in mind we ask you to please ALSO support their work! Thank you for contributing to a future of food that is available for all.
