These peashoots are grown in our heated greenhouse and are NOFA Certified Organic from seed to shoot. We don't let them grow too long, which would result in a 'leggy' and chewy shoot. Instead, we water and heat them so they grow quick and cut them young. This results in a sweet, juicy, crispy and hyper green peashoot that doesn't have that off-putting chewiness. Given our controlled growing environment, we package them super clean and ready to eat out of the bag - no pre-washing or rinsing required. Fridge-live is also very good on this product, with shoots staying fresh for at least a week when kept in a plastic bag or container.
